When you extend an deposit, you are only able to search within the flexchange window. If you have extended for 3 months, 6 months, or a year, you will still only be able to search, and grab exchanges, within the last 59 days prior to check-in. You can do this until your extension date expires.

Correct Angela but in Tims case where his week expires in mar09 if he were to extend now his week will allow him to search beyond 59 days just not past orig exp date. The week does not turn into a LD until the orig exp date.

If so, this is bad news for me.

You are correct. I miss understood that Tim was planning on extending his week so far in advance......I'm not sure why Time would want to extend his week until the expiration date, tho. At least I'm not aware of any benefits in doing so, and plans have a way of changing.

I think I would wait till the expiration date approaches, before I extended the week, if it were me.
