I think that there's some confusion here.
When you go to "refresh", it's because you clicked on, let's say, Orlando, for instance and then you get a message saying that there's no availability when it was on the list of available places. Just clicking refresh re-loads, it doesn't find anything new.
It's no secret using "refresh", just more common application.
Pat, can you explain this more clearly ?

Frank,
Using "refresh, or F5," are just ways to get the site to work. II has issues with their search engine, and it often fails to show all availability. These are just some ways to see what they want you to see. Not a trick, just a means to get the site to function the way it's suppose to function, and show you what's available.Angela
If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

This is NOT a way to find "new" or "hidden" resorts, and will only work when the site malfunctions.....which is all the time.Angela

Yes, you have to have "been there" to know............. and you'll know when:
You start to search and the list of all II resorts available to you open up.
Then you click on one and get the message "no availability at this time".
Just hit refresh and the ones that are supposed to be there will open up.
Tah Dah.

I notice this EVERY time I search. It's so frustrating. Sometimes F5 (force refresh) works, sometimes pushing it 5-6x still doesn't. Now here is a new one for me. When I search for a longer date range (today to next Spring), I don't see availability. Then I search for Spring 2009 only and all of a sudden there are 50 weeks available (I was looking at WMH this way just last night)!
???????
I don't get it. I asked II and they told me to delete my cookies. Yeah, but I would be deleting those darn cookies between EVERY single search if I truly wanted it to work correctly. Someone better be reading this thread on II!
