II Search Question

I’ve noticed if I split my timeshare week into 2 one-bedroom units and do a search for DVC properties, that sometimes the 1-bedroom unit with limited kitchen will not pull up the same DVC properties that the 1-bedroom unit with FULL kitchen will, BUT sometimes it will!!!! Is that normal?

Yes. Units with limited kitchens usually don't have the same pull power as a full 1BR unit.

I can understand that, however SOMETIMES both units will pull the same DVC properties. I'm not complaining...It's just since the search is inconsistant, I find myself doing three searches: 1-bed LK, 1-bed FK, & 2-bed...just to make sure I'm not missing anything, LOL!

II searches have a history of being inconsistant. I have three different TS all with floating weeks. So I can search with my best trader will see week 30- 36 at a top resort, my worst will see week 40-46 at the same resort. Why doesn't my best trader see 30- 36 & 40-46??

You might still be missing something. I find that sometimes starting with a "search all destinations" instead of a search of a specific area will yield different results. Keep in mind that the exchanges you see on the II web site are what is left over after II has filled ongoing requests. The really good stuff rarely makes it to the web site.

Ahhh, many of the Starwood have a partial kitchen so I wondered ....

As kapish mentioned the unit with the limited kitchen will not show as much avail as unit with full. If searching within 59days of travel you will see the same avail with either week. The ii website has a few bugs but the web usually shows the same avail as if you call in. A good tip is to check before ii opens (9am est) or after they close (11pm est) as you are seeing fresh verified deposits or units that have come off a hold.
