  • II Charging $39 To Deposit a Unit ???

Okay, when did this happen or has someone posted about it already ? Did I miss this ??? I have to pay them to take my unit ?

    Or............ is it new?

Is it a "wash" if their exchange is fee is lower than, let's say, RCI ? - Built in, I guess one could say ?

I was totally stumped and little ticked off.

I'm not an II user and don't pretend to be one even on the web. Seems I remember they charge $39 if you are adding a new resort to your account though.

I made an deposit last month and was not charged a deposit fee. If something new, I did not received any notification form II.

They do charge a fee if you add a new resort. But the fee is waived if you extend your membership.

It's $39 to enroll a new unit in your account. It is waived if you extend by a year. Once a unit is enrolled, depositing is free thereafter.

They've got it covered, but in case you're looking for triple confirmation, bnoble is correct about it being a one-time charge. I don't recall getting the waiver/extension offer the last time I added a resort, but I don't think I asked for it.

This is my understanding, too. Also, you can add multiple new resorts at one time for that $39 fee, or by extending your membership one year.

I have 2 new units I am going to add - and by extending a year you can add 5 at a time.
It annoys me to have to pay to add BUT the ability to search with an undeposited week is PRICELESS!

The last time I added a new resort to my II account I had the resort do. It was free. I had the resort do it since II was charging the $39 fee and I didn't want to extend the membership.

Call your resort and see if they will do it for you.

I got the fee waived once, can't remember how tho- maybe dual affiliation made them more accommodating.
