There are many types of A/C's. Some are contractual, in that when you deposit you get one. The one's I get cost only the exchange fee and do not have any exclusions other than trading back into the same location that the A/C was given for..

Originally posted by Bill4728AC is Accomodation Certificate. You get one when you deposit a high demand week into II. Then for a fee between $199 and $399 dollars, you can use the AC to get a trade into a mid to low demand location. II also greatly expand the TS available with an AC, 60 days before check in.
Hope that helps

Thanks everyone
This is a great thread...thanks everyone for your contributions. There are so many threads on AC's on this forum.
I am new to II as well as I am just helping a friend. I was surprised to find out they got an AC with their deposit...it was just before the 60 days of check-in. That was last October when I helped them deposit. I just found out about the AC they had on line when I was helping them look for an exchange for thier deposit.....they may use it this summer before it expires. It was definately limited in locations and seasons....but there was some nice stuff out there...I was shocked......II had some really nice resorts that are nice to go to and stay in even in the shoulder and off seasons."If a Nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.... If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed."
