  • Royal Resort questions

I know that the Royal Resorts are very family oriented, but I was wondering if you can give me a suggestion on which of the Royal Resorts in Cancun in your opinion have less children, My husband and I are trying to have a much deserved getaway alone and we are leaving our kids back home.

I guess I am asking where there would be more adults than children.

Also do they all do pool activities we enjoy those.

    Music by the pool?

I assume they all have swim up bars? Theme nights?

    Just basic fun

Thanks ahead of time for your responses

From my experience the Royal Sands has the least amount of children. They all have theme nights and swim up bars. Only the Royal Caribbean and Royal Sands have pool volleyball.

I agree that the Royal Sands would likely be the most adult oriented.

Club International which started around 1977 has a older crowd and perhaps less children. It is a more compact resort with lower rise buildings and a very calm beach. There is a swim up bar in one pool and an outdoor restaurant under a large palapa and very nice gardens. The key to finding more adults than children may better be the week chosen rather than the resort- during summer and school breaks there will be many kids.
