I would call Interval if someone else sees the week and from some glitch you can't...that is so odd but II is glitchy for sure!

It's possible that you might be right on the edge with respect to trade power, because it is still sitting there, and hasn't matched your ongoing request. That Christmas week was a studio, and is *conceivably* lower demand.

Hi GrayFal - there is some confusion I guess with my post - Saratoga has always been out there as a unit I would except. This morning - I searched from July to Dec. Saratoga had about 8 units available - but not for the week I want - but I am reading that others can see it.

Just when I thought I had the hang of this!!!!

My unit pulls DVC - when I search for it - there are plenty of weeks for me to exchange to (heck even Christmas week showed up yesterday!) But....it won't pull the week before Thanksgiving - while it can for others.

Sorry to be thick headed - but I get the idea of trading power - just can't see how my unit can pull up Xmas week but not the week prior to Thanksgiving.

Thanks for the clarification- I think it is time to call II and BEG!!! - tell them your friend can see it online and u can see OTHER one bedrooms, why can't u have this one....and SMILE when u r begging

I did call - the rep was as baffeled as I am. I even asked her to check to see if that Saratoga unit was there when I talked to her around 3:00 and she said no - but I see others were still seeing it past that time (assuming it was the same one). All well - I'll keep scratching my head!

Thanks Robin - that is the exact week that I have a request in for. Isn't that just crazy. I checked this morning at 6:45 EST and then again around 7:30 and Saratoga had about 10 weeks out there - but not that one. AND, I just checked online and the unit is still pending request - so I didn't get it. I wonder how come: 1. it didn't show up when I check and also why it went into the leftover catagory anyway. I checked my request and all is correct. Also, where can I find this sightings board you mentioned? Thanks

Yes I did and even more today!
Apparently I just love to annoy myself cuz I would see a 1BR on the opps board almost every day and I would call.....why can't I have.....I can see so many but not that ordinary week....how come. Always got nowhere.

Well a very nice Tugger helped me out some more and I made yet another call and they gave it to me. Heck, I even was able to retrade an AC for another 1BR at SSR for the same week for my inlaws. (they gave us the original TS so I thought it would be the right thing to do - give up my January ressie at SSR and book their room)

So....all is well. But, looking forward to depositing my 2009 weeks so I can try to get that January trip back with a trade.
