I was unable to add it to an ongoing search, as well. So, just a placeholder for now.

I suspect we won't see any inventory at all until Kidani comes on line in May.

Could it be that no DAK owners have desposited points into II yet? And do you think that DVC will enter the unsold units/weeks/time into II or just offer it on the offical WDW site like the regular hotel rooms? If we get lucky they will have some in the II short stay offers. Real, real lucky!

Disney chooses the unit to deposit, and it doesn't have to come from a Member's home resort. Points are relinquished based on the season and size you are requesting, but the unit deposited could be anything---smaller or larger, from any DVC season or resort, requiring more or fewer points---as long as it has sufficient trade power to obtain the trade. The sense I get is that DVC tries to deposit the smallest unit it can, from a time when Member demand is as low as possible.

The Mouse would sooner give away free cheese than deposit developer-held inventory for exchange. They've got a very efficient, very competent direct-rental channel that gets top dollar for inventory. The have thrown a few units into the Getaway pool from SSR, but the prices are steep---more than AP rates in some cases.
