  • need help from II pros!

For the past 5 years I have only used Wyndham points through RCI or other smaller companies for exchanges.
I have no experience with II, but have a II resort that we cannot use this year. Check in date is 10/24/08; I know very soon. My husband is scheduled for surgery the end of August, and will not be able to go yet.

If I join II, will this deposit trade poorly because of nearness of check in date?

    Any other suggestions?

    Thank you!
    Marge

Probably very poor, not knowing what resort it is, October is usually not that good anyway.

Deposit NOW in DAE or TPI, where they are more 'blind' to trade power issues as long as it's deposited prior to 60days out.

      Thanks Spence ,
It's a NV desert golf II Premier (whatever that is worth). I thought of TPI (though not familiar), and forgot about DAE (member, but have not used).
Thanks also for the sweet offer to go with me! Although my husband had another message... the only part I can repeat is "you dog, you"

          DAE for me!

I have had good luck depositing late exchanges with DAE. They don't penalize you and really offer a broader range of resorts in Europe. Not as many high level resorts, but we're talking about saving the space with a quality exchange you like, versus losing it.

DAE are very friendly and easy to work with. I have been suing them more than the others lately.

I really hope that is a typo and you have been USING them more than others!

Yes I like DAE. I also like TPI.

If you focus on these companies strengths I don't think you can go wrong with either.
