Just got off the phone with II, and have a sneaking suspicion that something did not go as planned. I have a week confirmed for an upcoming trip, but not my first choice of unit. I entered a request-first search for the preferred unit---if it hits, I'll re-trade the confirmed unit for the new one, reserving my un-deposited unit for another use.
I already have Saturday to Saturday flights, so I called to restrict the check-in day to Saturday (rather than the default Fri-Sat-Sun). The rep I spoke with said she entered a note in the request that "only Saturday was acceptable", which doesn't sound like what they have done in the past. When I've done this before, I was under the impression that some search parameter (that I don't have access to online) was modified.
