I just wanted to encourage people to keep those requests open. We just got a 2BR at Old Key West for late Sept. 09 -- exactly what I wanted. We passed up Saratoga too, so don't give up!

I picked up a 2 bedroom at OKW and a 1 bedroom for Wilderness lodge in september yesterday also, both were ongoing searches, I got a call from a rep, figured i better grab what I can.Comment

I am not sure what effect this will have on II exchanges, but DVC is going with RCI starting next year. I hope this isn't a mistake for those of us who like to trade. I love the option to stay at Marriotts and this will stop that. Anyone have any ideas how hard it is to trade into RCI? It has been rather difficult to get a trade into II. Which RCI resorts are on the same level as DVC or Marriott. Just wondering!Comment

The only resorts I would consider Tier 1 are the Hiltons in RCI, and they have very limited locations mostly in Orlando and Hawaii.Originally posted by MerilynComment

Called II to check on my request and I was informed as of 12:00am Jan 1st 2009 II will not longer be affiliated with DVC.
However any deposits made by DVC owners from now until then are still eligible for exchangesComment
