Am I gonna get something like a 'new member welcome packet' from II eventually? There is just about zero 'help' info on the website, it's almost like you are supposed to know how to navigate through it and know what the rules are before you log on.

You do get a packet in about 3 - 4 weeks along with your membership card. I don't really remember seeing anything helpful in the package but it's been a while.

My Request first exchange time period ends July 3, 2010. I am using a unit whose check-out date happens to be July 3, 2010. Is there a relationship there?

Ok, duh, I figured that one out. If you haven't deposited you can't search past your unit's position on the calendar because it could expire without a match.
