Is there an II witching hour? If this is a sensitive subject then please pm me and I can delete this thread. Any other tips? I am new to II exchanging and I am helping a friend....not for me specifically.

When one does an exchange on II.....do you get a 24 hour hold? Can you book something good you see and then cancel if need be within 24 hours?

Yes, you do.

Just a note though, you do not have 24 hours if an ongoing search pulls a trade for you, only when you book something.

II does not have a hold like RCI where if you actually put the exchange on hold and if you don't confirm in 24 hours you lose the exchange.

With II, you have an immediate confirmation that you can cancel within 24 hours .........

BUT if a match is made with an ongoing search and you don't see it right away, then it is final.

Not sure I'm getting this 24-hour cancellation thing. Do I understand correctly that if I have an ongoing search and it matches, I have no time at all in which to cancel? Or, do you mean that it's up to me to catch it and cancel it within 24 hours or it's a done deal?

I've never matched anything with an ongoing search with II before - a bit of a neophyte here.

You still have 24 hours, but it is up to you to catch it.
