Has anyone ever seen Planet Hollywood Towers by Westgate come up on II?
What I once considered boring, I now consider paradise.

I didn't realize it had opened. I look now and then, but I haven't seen it yet.

We own in Westgate Planet Hollywood. You cannot trade into PH from another TS, not even a westgate TS. You have to own in it to stay or rent a unit. We owned in Westgate Towncenter Florida, then traded "up" into WPH. Went and saw it in May of last year and am now an owner there and not in the towncenter in Orlando any more.
      WPH is awesome!

Planet Holly has been seen in II, they did a BULK Deposit for the entire year of 2010 a while ago. Pretty much everything was in there.

I hope you didn't buy based on this incorrect statement/belief. It is on II like any other resort and can be obtained easily using the internal Wastegate system - all they need is $$$!

To say you have to own to get it is pure sales speak and totally false.

That one statement in bold is so funny I'm not sure I'll be able to stop giggling about it for the rest of the night.

Pure salesman BS from a Westgate employee. Like any other timeshare where you can trade out, you can also trade it. It's a two way door not a one way exit.

When an owner wants to exchange, they give their week over to Interval International. At that point Westgate is out of the picture and doesn't have any control over the matter. Like any barter system, and exchange systems are barter systems, you must GIVE in order to recieve. Therefore, if Westgate tells you you can trade your timeshare for anyplace in the world, then the world will be able to trade into Westgate Planet Hollywood.

PH is located right across the street from the Marriott resort in Vegas.

Plus, it is about two block off from the strip.

There is no need to use the exchange company. You can go to other Westgate fees instead of your home resort for a nominal fee ($149 I think)
