Slow or Pre-MF's

Any possibility things will pick up after more people get their 2010 MF's paid and subsequently deposit to RCI? How much is the slow economy effecting this?

RCI has had the biggest impact on RCI.

Not a Guide, cuz I don't use/trust them, even the good ones screw up, but online, yes.

No maybe about it, either that they are doing it or that is the reason for the classaction.

Read the many threads about the proposed settlement. My objection to the settlement is that it does the opposite of what was intended; it legitimizes using deposits as rentals rather than ending the practice.

That IS what they were/are doing and the judge in the class action lawsuit just gave them carte blanche to continue doing it, with the exception of 3 years.

After 3 years RCI will be able to do whatever they want with exchange deposits. They could move all of them into the rental pool if they wanted to - basically same thing they do today except they do leave undesirable weeks in the exchange pool.

Also, this basically paves the way for all exchange companies to do the same thing.

It also should open the door for new exchange companies, ones that actually do exchanges. After all, it is still a good idea, just like it was in 1974.

Statement of fact and old news, but doesn't address my original question. Wasn't asking what has the BIGGEST impact, but merely asking what OTHER possibilities might exist that impact the current situation.
