I have mentioned elsewhere that I was fortunate to have gotten Weeks 1 & 2, 2011, the same unit in the same resort and the same unit we got for January 2009 and January 2010, prior to 5/30 Black Saturday.

I just looked at our Sorta Confirmations (sorta because they are not always confirmations ) and I actually got them on 5/15/09 and 6/15/09.

So, I actually got the last one after stuff disappeared. I got them both at what has historically been peak availability, 18/19 months out, only by comparison there has historically been 13 or 14 choices at that time, as opposed to the one I got.

The lowest number of choices at 18/19 months out during the 7 years I recorded my daily searches was 7, for 2009. Because RCI changed the search method and subregion, January 2010 was the end of my recording.

Soon it will be time to look at January 2012, for which I will have to renew in order to book, but I have to do that in order to use our banked weeks any way.

Perhaps I will use Member Dollars to renew.

For January, 2011, we are now at 12 months out. In chronological order at 12 months out the peak I have seen is 8, 6, 5, 4, 8 & 3. If I recall, I have been seeing only 1 recently, something crappy like Marco Resort or Charlotte Bay.

Actually, no, they don't. Ongoing searches will match up until 3 days to check-in.

I can't find anything anywhere that says how long an ongoing search stays active (how close to check-in date). I've looked online, in the Directory, in old Directories . . .

If I could see a list of total units available the next 24 months and a breakdown by resort like this, I would like to do a little study.
