Is there a VRI preference?

Just curious if there is a VRI preference in RCI.

I used a 1 bedroom Ft.Laud.BR to get a 2 bedroom Beach Club I last year and was hoping to get something similar again this year. Did I just get lucky on this or is there actually a preference for VRI owners with RCI? I did the exchange in March for an August trip so I don't think it was because they removed the size restriction or could that have been the reason? Anyway just curious before I deposit my week with them again.

There is or at least there was when I owned a VRI resort. You should also be getting discount of the exchange fee when exchanging into a VRI resort and you also get a discount if you buy your Rci dues but you need to buy in 3 or 5 year increments.

Have to Join Vriety Plus to get 2-1 and discounts on exhange fees.

I have always gotten the VRI 3 years for the price of 2 RCI deal by just telling them I am a VRI owner. There is actually a VRI RCI phone number but I do not know it.
All VRI owners get the discounted exchange fee - again, you have to TELL/Remind RCI if u are due the cheaper fee - it will sometimes/usually not happen automatically.

Yes, you will have to call and ask for a refund and REMIND/TELL them u r now a Wyndham owner and get your account for free - HA! - I mean pay for it thru your Wyndham MFs..... Still a good deal.
I have a Wyndham II account but it has to be separate from my other II account.
