Before last years apocalypse, my summer SoCal deposits always listed the same number of possible exchanges as the total listed for 'All Deposits'. After that, I was within a couple dozen units of that number. This morning the difference is 3,110. 162560 for all deposits, 159460 for my July 2010 deposit. Could be just another glitch. Anyone else take a hit?

Philsfan, when you refer to All Deposits are you referring to the top line on the RCI main Exchange page? I just assumed that number was the total number of deposited weeks that any of MY weeks could see, not the total number of deposited weeks in the RCI system. Have I been misunderstanding it?

This is my expectation. The totals can fluctuate quite a bit from moment to moment, presumably because they are not implementing strong consistency between server replicas.
All Deposits [162,438]
Resort Certificate: 2-45 days 24-Jan-2010 to 10-Mar-2010 [8,678] Available to Exchange - CompWeek
Aquamarine Villas (#1207) 01-Jul-2008 to 31-Jul-2011 [138,725]
Aquamarine Villas (#1207) 01-Jul-2009 to 31-Jul-2012 [159,274]
How would the bottom three add up to the All Deposits number? Since the comp week is only good for units in the 45 day window, it's not adding anything to the mix that the other two aren't seeing. The All Deposits number has always been higher than my deposits since the apocalypse.

What you are seeing is the fact that RCI's web site stinks. The "all deposits" number is supposed to be the total number you see across all of your active deposits. I have a couple of different accounts I can search with, and the "all deposits" number is usually within spitting distance of the union of each deposit's potential set. In particular, accounts with weaker deposits always see a lower "all deposits" number than those with stronger deposits. So, I am quite confident that it is not the system-wide deposit number.
Edited to add: the accounts I have with that resort certificate all show that 162K number. The accounts I have without it show the rough total that they should given the individual deposits.
