Not ever going to give JLB a run for his money, but I'm irked with RCI. I own with Bluegreen, meaning I get an RCI weeks membership whether I want one or not, and while I have no plans of ever trading through them, periodically I check the rentals to see what's available. Used to be I could scan the multiple state or area listings and it'd list how many the units slept - about two weeks back, they pulled that feature. Now it just lists "Studio, 1 BR, 2 BR" etc. I'm generally looking to sleep seven, so most 3 BRs will put us up, but so will some 2 BR - problem is, most 2 BR only sleep six, and I have to pull up the listings to find out if a resort can put us up (even when I know the resort has 2BRs that sleep, most have 2BRs that sleep six as well, so I still don't know until I pull it up whether it was worth my effort).

When you consider how long that site takes to load a page, that's a royal pain. OTOH, maybe their whole purpose is to discourage those like myself who aren't too seriously looking.

I noticed that nasty little problem in exchanges too. Anything to make it more difficult. Not all studios sleep 4, etc, etc.

You can use the search filter, on the side, to specify a minimum capacity. I think they only do even numbers (2, 4, 6, 8) but you can list a "sleeps 8" and then filter out all the sixes.

I do this because we can sometimes use a 1BR sleeps-six (so the kids have separate beds), but not sleeps-four.

Thankee! I am oblivious to that sort of thing, it seems, or maybe too much of a creature of habit. Still two more clicks than it used to be but definitely an improvement.

I have no money to run for.

I own timeshares and trade through RCI.
