Under the original set-up of RCI being an exchange company, the maximum value of a Spacebank deposit to RCI was an exchange fee. We have deposited somewhere around 110 weeks and I have frequently checked to see if they got taken, and they have, so under the original exchange-only concept, the value of my deposits, and the value of me as a customer should be as great as it could be.
But, whoever came up with the hairbrained scam/scheme of renting SpaceBank deposits to the public, or even worse yet, to members like myself, like they have tried to do, screwed that value system all to . . . .
Now it is possible that the moneygrubbers value a deposit on its rental value, not on an exchange fee, so there is a temptation to reward those who deposit weeks with higher rental value over those who deposit weeks with lower rental values.
Why not, the trading power formula is top secret, so they can factor in anything they want.
