Is it possible to sell a contract right now?

I posted as a newbie in another thread ( I still am) but I have another question,if my family member decides to try and sell her timeshare,is it even do-able? are people buying these at all?
I've read listings on Ebay,where else could I look? how does one sell a timeshare deed? Not 100% sure what we will do,but considering this if it's an option. thanks

Depends on the resort and the week and then whether or not you can find a party that is interested. We do have a freebie forum where one can try to give a nearly non-marketable timeshare week away.

I sold a week at a not-so-great resort on craigslist. I used the city closest to the resort. I had a young person who sent me an email that simply said "I want it." It took quite a bit of hand holding and phone calls/emails to get him to close, but it eventually worked out.
