I just got an email from RCI that they have withdrawn my summer 2010 IPV from their spacebank due to my request (nope). This week has already been exchanged for a Thanksgiving week in Hawaii in 2011. Are they setting me up so that they can undo my great exchange?? I tried calling but they are not open yet.

I was able to get through using the local phone number, and I am told my exchange is still fine. CSR says my week was deposited twice (not by me) and they sent that notice to remove the second duplicate deposit from their system. I will watch my account closely for the next couple of days, though. Just printed out my Hawaii confirmation just in case.

Same thing happened to me a few months ago with IPV - I probably posted here.
They withdrew my week and redeposited another one at IPV request (so said RCI) - but in fact I did get another email a few hours later stating a new deposit was made.
What made me VERY unhappy was the wording of the email saying any exchange made against the deposit was cancelled.
It was only after I kept insisting that I wanted a supervissor did the guide bother to check what had actually happened with the deposit.

Not very good customer service if u ask me.
