Hi Bezerk - we are great. Just left PV after a month of vacation! We spent 2 weeks at the Mondavi as the first guests there and then a week at the Buganvilas and another week at the MP Marina. I thought about you when we passed the hospital one day. I sure hope your are getting better.
hi Pittle, glad to hear from you. Just got out of hospital a few days ago...planned hospitalization. I am getting better each day though the month of Nov.into early Dec. was a tough, sick one. I am cooking for X-Mas fingers and toes crossed, otherwise hubby & son will have to cook oh no! Plan to head to PV Jan 1 for 12 days and then return in feb for 2 weeks. Also planning a new adventure next year to Acapulco in May!!!

Have you ever stayed at Grand Miramar?? Curious as I pull it a lot thru II.

Checked out RCI and well sure is gonna take some getting used to, have not done anything as yet but soon, so not sure if I like or not

The posts here are very helpful...thanks

Bezerk - Miramar is next door to the Mondavi up in Conchas Chinas. They are working on it frantically and it should be nice when it is finished. The unit we were in at Mondavi was right near the wall between the two resorts. It has several nice pools and some great patios on the units that were built a few years ago. (Click on the link to my pictures - Mondavi Fall 2010 - and in #27 & 28 you can see the Miramar.) When we walked outside the Mondavi and towards the Miramar to get a taxi, we were offered $500 USD to tour it, but we know better!

I am going to Acapulco on January 15th with a girlfriend. We had a MP that we needed to use and we chose the new MP Regency in Acapulco. This will be just R&R. We do know a good taxi driver that Mike trusts to take us to dinner a few places.

Have fun in PV. Merry Christmas and I certainly hope that 2011 is a better year for you!!!

I was looking at RCI the other day and my Buganvilias deposits are pulling the same resorts that they did before. I do not have any Mayan Palace deposits so I can't check with them. The biggest difference that I see is that it is not as easy to pull a 2-bedroom with a hotel unit or 1-bedroom as it used to be. I do appreciate all the comments that have been made and I am beginning to understand this new system more. I just need to commit to some exchanges for the 2 deposits that I have right now.
