Not I. The 44 was for the summer SoCal week from your post. I just counted the units across the board above 44. My current deposits are: 9, a late deposit from 10- more than its worth (but before the change I traded into a better week at the same resort that would now be a 15); 22, a late deposit from 23-disappointing won't be depositing that with RCI unless its upgraded (deposited before the rollout); 34- its a float holiday week but a non holiday week would get 27- worth more in RCI than anywhere else; and an 8 left over from an old deposit- was happy with what I got so if I ever use the 8 on a last minute trip it will be a bonus.
For now there is still a decent supply of 2 bdrms where and when I'm willing to travel but the new system really rewards prime time studios and 1 bdrms (which would have the best MF to TP ratio) so eventually the 2 bdrms will dry up and while I am occasionally willing to trade for 2- 1 bedrooms at certain locations where I know 2 bedrooms are scarce, eventually I will need to look beyond RCI more often. Many of the independents are discouraging studios and 1 bedrooms by requireing upgrade fees to trade into larger units even if you are downgrading in season or unit quality (baseing like for like on unit size only). It is not as if they reduce the exchange fee or reward the larger deposit who trades into a smaller unit.
