I got to say what I've been wanting to say.
I wanted an exchange, but it was 1 point more than my best deposit.
I called and asked them to give it to me for one point less than they were asking. She said no . . . then . . . of course . . . she said, "You know what you can do? . . . " and I said "No, I cannot give you $109 more dollars to do the same thing I've done 120 times in 23 years."
Sure, give them $109 for the privilege of giving them $199? Really?
On top of that, it was for a LM trade, that shoulda been 1/2 what they wanted to begin with.
I was not pleasant, and can't think of a good reason why I should be, since companies make decisions based on feedback from customers.
To that she said, "Let me check with my . . . no, I know I can't do that ."
So, if I company is willing to let one freaking phony point stand in the way of satisfying a customer of 23 years, they need to rethink their bizmodel.
I mean, any more, how many people do business with the same company for 23 years any more?
