OK techies, let me help you out a bit.

The search I saved is Florida searching for all available exchanges. When the "searcher" is set to show all available exchanges, it works . . . it shows all available Florida exchanges.

When the "searcher" is set to only exchanges available with single deposit, my saved search shows Florida exchanges available with a single deposit.

So, the mode the "searcher" is set for determines what the saved search will see, rather than showing what was actually saved.

To confirm this, I just did the opposite, I saved Florida exchanges available with a single deposit. Then I switched the mode to all available exchanges. When I clicked on my saved search, it showed all available Florida exchanges, not just those available with a single deposit (what I saved).

It wouldn't surprise me if they ignored your squeaky wheel since no matter what RCI does you find fault. I am not saying that fault is not there to be found, but that for some people they are not happy unless they feel victimized.

It's too bad that everyone but you has no experience. If so many here are so inexperienced, why do you waste your time here? I am sure your expertise could be better used elsewhere.

I let this lie as I did for a reason.

You and I have shared enough on these forums over the last 12, maybe more, years, that I know you know me and you know I know you. We both know what the other has been through, and there is a level of respect that comes from that.

You know I have been truthful, reporting what is, either positive or not.

You know I have helped to get things changed, like when I got II Getaways opened for those who own in Orlando (as long as they also own elsewhere).

You know that I have made more to 100 suggestions to RCI over 20 years, starting with letters to Kenneth May, once I felt I had enough experience to do that. Things like being able to use account credits in online transactions . . . that taking many years of squeaking. I have emails saved from people on this forum, and others, where they and I were working on things with RCI together, from more than 10 years ago.

Now, in another thread, there is evidence that RCI is adjusting down the TPUs it takes to get exchanges, from 34 to 19 to 13 . . . the same ones I am posting.

Just because someone thinks that what we say here will not bring about changes does not mean that what we say here will not bring about changes, especially when those saying that have not been around for changes that have come about because of things we have said here, and elsewhere. It certainly should carry no more weight than me saying that what we say here does bring about changes.

They probably could not tell you what the IAB was.

You also know from your experiences that bad advice is sometimes given on forums, because anyone can give advice and it all looks the same in print. & that pointing out bad advice is the accepted way of countering it.

It is only by the entire body of a person's posts over a very long period of time that you can really gain confidence in that person. Someone may be 100% spot on from Post #1, but confidence in them comes from experience with them.

You also know that in posting what I know from experience, that I am not saying that that is the only opinion on that topic, or that others may be less qualified, even if others posting are, in fact, less qualified.

You know I would not be saying the things I have been saying since the 11/10 Dehancement unless I felt I could help bring about a change in it. If I did not believe that, it would just be idle rambling, huh?

Someone telling someone else what they should be doing simply because it is what they believe to be the right thing for themselves, without knowing the other person, is what I consider to be bad advice. If I have ever done that, say told someone they ought to or ought not to do something, like, say belong to RCI or not, because it is the right thing for me, I apologize.

What I have tried to do over the years, like on the SW Florida in January thread, is post information I have gathered, and let folks draw their own conclusions.

Yeah, I know that rubs some the wrong way, but, oh well, I call it like I see it, and the view is pretty clear right now, a lot of longtime members got screwed 11/10 (not saying that a few did not benefit). Just because some have benfitted does not mean others did not get screwed.

OK, Techies, it's still not working.

Let me be specific . . . I have saved Florida, All Available Exchanges.

But, when it is in Exchanges Available with Deposits mode, it shows only Florida exchanges available with deposits, and, when it is in All Available Exchanges mode, it shows that.

What it should do, IMO, is when I log on, and click to Search, I should be able to click My Favorite Search and see what I saved, All Available Exchanges.

Well, I can use voice and data at the same time, but there are dead zones, and dropped calls.

Perhaps we should organize and everyone can get assigned a specific time slot to check to see if RCI has fixed it. Then when it does get fixed that person can notify you. It would save you a lot of time.

You can start us off by taking the 12:00 AM-12:30 slot. I'll take 11:30 AM-12:00.

Although I have nothing but time, it would screw up my schedule if I had to do something at a set time. Well, except for taking out the trash, which is Monday mornings, one of my big days.

I prefer to keep free-lancing, aimlessly wandering around, flowers in my hair.
