Can't ever book through Diamond Website!

Can anyone give me insight into why I can never book anything online through Diamond? doesn't matter the location or how far in advance, I never get any search results.

IF I go to Interval International, then I can always see something to exchange.

Is there a difference in the level of service/availability with the level of club membership? my level of membership is a "valued club member"

Does booking availability have to deal with how far in advance I pay my membership fees? I'm thrown for a loop here as I can never seem to book anything.

Does anyone have insight on this?

I have that problem too sometimes especially for high demand areas. Some DRI properties don't have many rooms. Sometimes it's better to call DRI reservations because they see things we don't see online. For example, San Luis Obispo and Coronado Beach Resort are really hard to get in the summer. You have a better chance of calling. For some reason, I can't even see reservations for San Luis Obispo within the timeframe I am supposed to have access but there are accommodations available.

I do try to make my reservations early but things change as I am making reservations. For example, I was making a reservation for Polo Towers in Las Vegas and I wanted to check something and before I could confirm someone had taken the ressie.

Bottom line: call DRI.

There is an option (drop down box) that allows you to look using a grid, calendar and one other option. I always choose calendar and start with the number of nights I want to book. If nothing is available for that number of nights, I start reducing the number of nights until I see availability.

So far we've never had a problem but, we've only booked The Suite's at Fall Creek, generally in shoulder season, and Villa's De Santa Fe, again in what I think is probably shoulder season. I have done several searches and usually can find availability unless it's really popular destinations and/or affiliated resorts rather than DRI managed resorts.

Go to the member forums link on the bottom of the Diamond website and ask your question. I did that about a year ago and one of Diamonds moderators gave me some helpful advice. For me my popup blocker was not letting avaiability come up.
