  • RCI Exchange Trading Power Search

I'm probably the only one who just figured this out. But I'm thrilled to have finally figured out how to search by trading power. It is one of the choices under "other", but for some reason it doesn't always show. I've found it shows after I have selected a region. Then after I've chosen my TP range
    (1-10, 11-14, 15-18, 19-23, 24-32, 33+), I can go back and change the region, month, whatever.

If anyone has found an easier way, I'd love to hear it.

This is especially helpful for invisible deposits if you know how many, or approximatelly how many points they will pull. I think this is probably only a Wyndham issue.

I do it under Managing My Deposit . . . the Deposit Calculator . . . which hasn't been working for me the past few days . . . but I think the problem wasw the wifi at our resort in Florida.

I'd have to go back and look as I think I only searched that way when the last enhancement was done. For the kicks and giggles factor. What did RCI consider the exchanges with the mostest, biggest TPU range?

If I remember correctly I was able to select TP as first criteria. I'll give it another shot in the morning. I'm not a night person.

This only works with deposits that are "visible". Many Wyndham members have "invisible" deposits. The method I described above allows me to search by bands of TP units to see what those "invisible" deposits might pull.

Probably I should have posted this under the Wyndham forum...

Just to be clear, if you have visible deposits, you can search any week any resort any where, not just that deposit.

I would not know any other method, cuz I never have had a need to look for one (the finding your car keys factor . . . no need to look further after you find them).

No there does not seem to be an easier way. You have to go through and select first then chose TP level. After that you can change things easily as you have stated.

It is something that wasn't available before and I'm glad you are able to "work it" to your advantage.

The Deposit Calculator is not working for me this morning. It, and some other stuff, stopped working while we were in FL, but I blamed it on the wifi there.

That's cause they don't want your deposits anymore.

                        Works good, thanks.
How about posting what you have figured out on the worth of your non-visible deposits?? I haven't figured that out yet.

Because the Deposit Calculator under Manage Your Deposits is not working (for me), I looked at what you are talking about. When searching for an exchange, after selecting a region, it shows up as the last method of sorting . . . "Exchange Trading Power".

The limitation is that it only shows deposits, only for those specific weeks, and only what it takes to exchange in.

It does not show how much credit is given for depositing that week, which I have found to be less for the high-demand, low-supply stuff I search for. (Those owners not being able to get their own week with their own week.)

Is that what you're talking about?

Is the Deposit Calculator under Manage Your Deposits working for everyone else?

Yes, searching by "Exchange Trading Power" is what I was talking about.

And yes, the Deposit Calculator is still working for me.

                              I have a 70k, 42k and 28k Wyndham deposit. I have a red season studio deposit from a non-Wyndham week.

The red studio is worth 14-15 credits, so I'm guessing that the 70k deposit is worth about that, say 14. I'm guessing that the 28k is worth less than 10. The 42k would be somewhere in between, maybe 10-12.

This is all just guesswork, however. The only thing I'm basing it on is my red studio deposit.
