  • Deposit Credits, Combined Deposits

In one of the many RCI Dehancements threads, there is a brief discussion concerning searching on deposits, the fact that now you don't actually have to have a week deposited to be able to search.

I was not clear on that, until now, so for those like me . . .

You now can have deposits described as Deposit Credit or Combined Deposit which can search on their own, each being able to see a number of one-for-one exchanges, or, All Available Deposits.

Deposit Credits and Combined Deposits are weeks - or perhaps more accurately, partial weeks - on deposit. They come from one origonal source only - a week that a member deposited.

To my mind, using these deposit lines to search does not support a statement that one can search without a deposit.

RCI offered as a choice for the lawsuit settlement the chance to once search before making a deposit. But that is not their ongoing business model at all. You must have a minimum of one deposit line in your account, with a minimum of 1 TPU, in order to do a search. As far as I know.

Of course, everyone knows that you can search without a deposit, and have been able to for a long time . . . that you can continue your subscription even after you no longer own anything.

      Anyone here in that situation?

Well, I guess most people on the Forums do know that you can continue your RCI membershp even if you no longer own any weeks. And from what I read posted, some people do, with great success.

Please share how someone can have zip, nada, nothing on deposit and search for an exchange. Not a Last Call, not an Extra Vacation, but an exchange.

Well, in light of the awful gravy at Boston Market, I can't see how my efforts involving hundreds of millions of consumer dollars is important.

          Have a nice day!
