This thread is interesting. It is points and it is RCI Europe, but it raises the issue of whether the US might see the same:

If it improves their bottom line, you know they will be doing it. Perhaps they are trying it out across the pond first to see if it is lucrative.

Ok, I may be missing something, but is this the same "RCI" as the trading company we all know and love/hate? The post is talking about "surrendering" their ownership back to RCI. I didn't think that RCI manages any resorts -- do they do so in Europe?

Very confusing...
