  • If your ongoing search is searching for an exchange that "costs" more points...

What happens? I have an ongoing search set up, and the exchange I want is right on the edge of the points I have--that is, it might be the same, a 23, or it might be a bit more, maybe even a 25.

What happens? Does the system make the match and then taunt me with it because I can't have it?

From what I have experienced, it won't match until it drops to your number, 23. I have 2 searches for similar areas, and the one with enough points matches. If I release it and I have enough points in the other, it will match too, but if it doesn't, it won't.

Glad I searched as this was exactly a question I have. It's hard when you haven't seen an exchange op for what you want - and probably won't because it will never show up online.

So I want to put in an ongoing search for SW Florida in mid Jan to mid March of 2013 - any guesses on how many TPUs would be needed? I've not seen anything there close to on season other than very last minute. I've got a 48 TPU deposit with a 22 and a 4 and I really don't want to combine them unless I'm completely out in left field in thinking 48 might do the trick. I'm hoping if something did pop in, it might actually be a lower TPU value than, say 2012 units - that's been what I've been seeing in Hawaii anyway.

And yes, I know it's a long shot - I've been successful in the past but it's been a while.
