I guess by posting just about everything that is available, we feel better about what is not available any more . . . the good stuff, or just about anything during Snowbird Season.

I know I feel better seeing the resorts I used to see for January. It makes my big heart go pitter patter just a little.

Over time, as good stuff and peak season has disappeared, we have resorted (punny!!!) to posting stuff that never would have been considered special in the Good Ole Days.

As in my January in SW FL thread . . . over time I began accepting the settlefors, then started looking forward to them as if they were something special, then wish even they were available.

Like boiling a bullfrog, you don't toss him into boiling water, cuz he'd jump out. You put him in comfortable water, and turn up the heat. He relaxes in the warmth, goes to sleep, then wakes up dead . . .

There are some in SW FL, waterfront, that we would take in heartbeat, and that in the former good times of three or four years ago sold for big money. Bettter than the typical motel conversion resorts of SW FL.
