RCI Club Access?

Doesn't anyone know anything about an RCI exchange add-on called RCI Club Access? It was referenced by a poster who seems to have a strong connection to RCI is post #114 of this thread: http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...ts-course.html

It seems to be a place where RCI will offer its better inventory. I would surmise that using it will involve an extra fee.

I was curious, too and thought, since it was ignored..... will post a new thread, like you did.

So I went on RCI web and did reserch.
NOTHING came up.
Now, I will call them, to find out.
I have a feeling they ignored the ? because, they have no clue, waht they are talking about.
It is quite humorous to read the postings back and force....
They all act, like they all: know it all.... yet asimple ? is not being answered.
All the post are (in that thead) speculation and very entertainig but not informative at all.

I gave up on that other thread so did not see the reference but could this be the new RCI Platinum Membership - where only those members can see certain inventory and at a reduced rate?
If you check the sightings board there was a sighting of NYC Affinia Hotel at a very reasonable TPU amount - half of the Manhattan Club - that could only be accessed by Platinum members and RCI has alluded to other perks such as getting a crack at "better" inventory before the general RCI population.

Preferred Access is the latest and greatest RCI Pay for Premium.

We cross posted (Happy Mothers Day) and I think the fee is $55/1 year with discounts for multi-year membership.

So there is no CLUB ACCESS at all, it has a different name to beginn with.
This is a big deal to me, since I am very grean on this whole TS discussion.
Many of the terms used here are chinese to me, any way.

I purchased the Platinum upgrade last week and was able to use it for one of the Affinia Manhattan weeks. A very good deal compared to the other NYC timeshares and much better than the cost of a New York hotel room.
