  • What An 8 Gets

Sorry . . . had this saved, so decided to get rid of it.

I'm surprised that an 8 doesn't get more 30-day window stuff, and not as much further out:

An 8 gets me a week at the beach in a 1 bedroom.

As always, it depends on what you want.

I paid 6 TPUs for a 2 bedroom at Orange Lake West Village for this past spring break. I paid 7 TPUs for the Houses at Summer Bay for an early December week. The Summer Bay exchange was 15 days out and the Orange Lake was 34 days out.

I was very happy with both exchanges.

How does the number of units available for 8 TPUs compare to what was historically available to a dog week previously?

An 8 got me a week in Aspen in June at the 30 day mark. From what I can tell there are only 3355 units available in May so apparently an 8 can see them all.

I don't have an 8 but I have a 3! I was surprised it could see anything but it does.

Historically, a blue week about anywhere would trade for Orlando for much of the year. Given the overbuilding in Orlando, the supply / demand curves are similar so that is a real like for like exchange.
