Received two emails today. Regular RCI and Bluegreen RCI weeks accounts.

Place an ongoing request/search without paying the fee first.
I will take advantage of this as I am looking for an exchange in June 2013

When I go into my RCI account and click the Search tab--if you look over to the right before you start searching, it offers the free ongoing search there. Right above the place for your saved searches. See it? Once you start searching, it disappears!

Is this promo only for weeks owners? When use the BG/RCI portal, I do not see an option for ongoing searches. I used to be able to login directly through RCI but was told when they changed things that I had to login through BG then the RCI link. Perhaps I have missed something? Also based on the OP it sounds like if they find what you want you then have to pay the fee is that correct?

There is no way to set up an ongoing search thru the BG/RCI portal.

BUT, you still have a 'traditional' RCI weeks account that u can use - if u have something else to deposit in it.
I have other ownerships so I still use mine.

And yes, when u match, you have to pay the exchange fee....what it avoids is having $500+ given to RCI for 3 searches that might never match.

I received the email with my RCI week account number on it as well as a second email with my personal RCI account number (I will close that second account once I use the last exchange tied to that account.)

That is where my problem comes in, as it looks like when they switched this was disable. Every time I tried to login there were error messages. Then got into an endles loop!

Perhaps I will have to set up a seperate account. Would a new account use TPU's?
