The 17 I posted is for a 1-bedroom 6/4 (since OP described it only as sleep 6.

    19 is for a 2-bedroom 6/6.

Regardless, it would take two of either to trade into Cape Cod in the summer.

    Such a deal!

New Timeshare Forum member here. We have a float week with The Galleon Resort (Key West) from 3/31/12 - 4/7/12. Could someone please tell me what this would be worth in terms of RCI's point system?

If you could also let me know what is available in Aruba, Dominican Republic or Lesser Antilles from 3/31/12 - 4/7/12 it would be very much appreciated.

I'll tell you as long as you give me enough lead time to try to snag it after you make the deposit!

A one bdr is in the low 40's, a two bdr in in the low 50's. You are at less then 9 months from check-in though. The number is dropping according to their adjustment schedule:

        < 14 days 45%
        15 - 30 days 60%
        31 - 90 days 80%
        91 - 180 days 90%
        181 - 275 days 95%
        276+ days 100%

So a 2 bdr that would be 52 ar 276+ days is only 49 now using week 13, 2012 dates.

I have seen Martha's Vineyard come up in II, units are usually studios or hotel rooms. Given what RCI will give you in trading power, I wouldn't give them your week - I'd look elsewhere, either II or one of the independents mentioned earlier in this thread.

I only see the Coconut Palms in DR for that date unless you are ok with all-inclusive...There are 4 average resorts in SXM, one in St. Thomas, nothing in Aruba.

That is a college spring break week for some and prime season regardless. I would rent yours out and rent something else with the proceeds since your needs are specific and high demand.

Thank you for all of the replies! Very much appreciate the information and your input. I'll see if someone can tell me what is available through II in their forum. Worst case scenario we'll go back to Key West (which isn't a bad thing ).
