Like they threatened to do with exchanges, you can now redeem Elite Rewards with points plus dollars.
As an example, you can redeem for higher amounts of Member Dollars than you have Points to do, to get into a bracket that is better than 1 for 1. That is at $200 Member Dollars.
By doing that now, I can get $137 Member Dollars that I do not have enough points to get for $121.

It sorta reminds me golf league. We put in $10 and get shop credit if we finish in the money. If we get $10 in shop credit, that will get us about $5 worth of stuff . . . if there is any stuff we want.
