I set up several searches back when RCI offered them for free. Since
then, I have not had a hit on anything. Yet I have seen weeks
available by doing a manual search for the exact criteria.
I called tech support today because I noticed something really weird with my
searches. I saw a unit online that should have matched a search. I went into my search to see if the criteria was correct- it appeared to be. Within the search, I clicked to search on the criteria and it said nothing was available. I went back to the manual search and it was still there.
When I spoke to the gal in tech support she had no explanation, but
admitted something was definitely wrong. She escalated it to a
supervisor and they looked into it. I heard back from her less than an hour later (amazing!) to say there is a known bug with some ongoing searches started in the spring. She did not know the specific time frame, but she reentered my searches, backdating them to the original entry date, and now they are working. Unfortunately, I don't how you can determine if yours is broken. The only reason I knew mine were not working was because I saw a unit doing a manual search.
So RCI knows there is a bug - and now you do too.
