I could not find a summer exchange and going into off season there are no deals. There used to be tons of selections, and there still is. All rentals. How did RCI get control to rent these instead of exchange. Did GPR agree to this? I'm not giving RCI my beach weeks any more.

I disagree. There was never an abundance of summer southern california coastal available in RCI. One of the main reasons is there is a system wide 1-in-4 exchange rule for the GPR resorts.

If you are not under the GPR block you may want to put in an on-going search for 2012. Current GPR availability thru April of this year showing on-line in RCI now.
