as I'm running through ex-ops this morning I see little red tags on some properties and finally clicked thru on one. Disney HHI marked down from 13 to 4TPU. Granted we are talking January weeks but that's not half bad if that's just one example.

I guess it would be fine for the golfers at that time of year. They are probably also marked down as rentals, and if so might be better overall value there.

Except that as of yesterday, all those at DVC, now marked at 13 TPU's, now on sale for 4, were 7 when not on sale. You can see that in Ex-Opps.

So they marked them up to almost double, to make the sale look like more of a mark-down.

The red tags are back and they are doing exactly what Laurie picked up prior. Very off season OCMD were 6, they marked them up to 12 and then red tagged them at 4. Still, there may be some bargains out there.

still, any DVC property is a lot more trade-able into Disney World than RCI points. And you don't have to use them in January or whenever.

It's back and available but must be booked by tomorrow. Mostly the usual suspects. Tahoe in mud season, etc. Travel between 3/30 & 6/10/12
