Where is the part that says "but RCI may, at it's whim, do any or all of these uses without prior notice to or approval of the actual owner of the timeshare. They may, if no other option for greater income can be located, allow an exchange to another resort by such owner, but only if they pay handsomely for such an unexpected turn of events. No such trade opportunity is to be expected in the normal coarse of RCI business but has been known to, and may occur again, at some future date."

What bloody hypocrites when RCI itself does all of those things with exchange deposits that it wants to expel members for doing. These same rules should apply to RCI itself.

8. Guests
A) An Exchange Confirmation may not be used for any commercial purpose, including rental or sale. An Exchange Confirmation can only be used by the member who receives it from RCI unless that member gives the exchange to a friend or family member by purchasing a Guest Certificate from RCI for the Gues Certificate fee current on the date of issue.

Similarly, the only person who may request or receive a Confirmation or make an Exchange Request with respect to deposited vacation time shall be the Vacation Owner of such Vacation Time. It is the responsibility of the Member to forward any and all correspondence regarding Guest Certificates to the Guest.

Very involved and complicated terms and Conditions, and I couldn't find the normal warning, except . . .

I found this in the online 2008-2009 Disclosure Guide. Not much difference, but some nuances.

h. Non-Commercial Use. The RCI Weeks
Exchange Program, including without limitation,
Confirmations, Guest Certificates, Vacation Time
and Alternative Inventory, may not be used by a
Guest or a Member for commercial purposes,
including through auction, rental or sale. Such use
is grounds for immediate termination of Member’s
RCI Weeks Subscribing Membership and
