RCI supposed improvements

After getting on RCI for the first time since the weekend outtage I am extremely disappointed. Trying to search for availability for an hour I gave up in frustration. I could find no exchange availability at all. The only thing I can gather from the supposed site improvements is that RCI wants to make it so difficult for members to find exchanges that they rent instead. I am done with them until they fix the mess they just created.

I have found that searching in points for a points resort is much less friendly beacuse I haven't been able to find a place to set the number of nights I want to stay as part of my search criteria. That means they return everything, even when only single a night is available. Other than that, I have been able to work with what they have done so far.

You can do a coarse-grained selection: 1-6 days, 7 days, or 7+ days. But, that's it.

In Points on the left had side of the screen you can opt for 7 nights. Larry clued me into that.

RCI still shuts down Internet Explorer every time I click search on vacations. Doing ex-ops from Firefox is much more work. I also can't get the system to hold a date range down to a country or region search.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try them after a few days on the phone with RCI I have gotten nowhere. I have even tried different browsers to see if that would help.

I am not sure what they did. The person who fixed it told me something happened to my account settings that was interfering with my searches. I am not very computer literate

Wow, that is unbelievable. What if you had active ongoing searches, you might have missed out on exactly what you were looking for because they decided to 'improve'.
