With the mention of the Everglades---what comes to mind first for us is mosquitos. -
It is funny but I have never used insect repellant in florida, but I have to use it constantly in Wisconsin. I expected some mosquitos when we had 9 inches of rain in a day and a half and standing water, but haven't seen them yet.Comment

In the same issue, in the article on La Jolla, in the Torrey Pines section they did not even mention the golf course, the most famous thing about Torrey Pines.
