I purchased the RCI Insurance a few months back when I booked an exchange. If I cancel the reservation, how long do I have to rebook before I have to pay another exchange fee?

I believe it is 6 mths

That is correct. The returned exchange fee is a 'credit' and is valid for 6 months from the cancellation date. The returned TPUs are good until whatever their origonal expiration date is.

What I do is wait as long as I can to cancel the insured exchange to push the 6 months out as far as possible. OR if I have a new exchange I am doing, then I will cancel the insured exchange immediately before confirming the new exchange so that the returned fee/credit can be applied immediately to the new exchange.
