  • RCI membership when owning several TS.

I am closing on a property that comes with RCI membership. The annual dues paid to the resort include RCI dues. I haven't joined RCI with my other TS.

When I become a member of RCI from my Grand Pacific TS, will I be able to add my WM membership to it? I would like to use the WM portal for last minute RCI and their DVC stuff, but I don't want to pay membership for it.

I know several of you have RCI portals from different TS that you own. Were you able to link them together? Or, do you pay for more than one type of RCI membership?

I'm not in RCI (yet), but it's my understanding (at least with Wyndham) that you can then use it for other resorts as long as they trade in RCI. For example, with a Wyn-provided RCI account, I could deposit my star wood Sheraton Broadway Plantation. Heck I think I even read that once your in RCI you could potentially sell off all your timeshares and still keep the account to purchase Last Call deals....

There are reports of people doing just that (selling the resorts and keeping the membership).

We have the one membership and own 4 different resorts including Worldmark and can and do at times trade all thru RCI.

Some ownerships have a separate "RCI Portal"
Bluegreen owners now log into the Bluegreen website and are directed from there into a RCI site specifically for that ownership. You can only exchange thru this portal with BG points. I do not pay additionally for this RCI account (of course it is built into the maint. fees)
I believe HGVC is the same.

So it really depends on which ownership you are purchasing initially.
