I'm serious. That's what I get. I already know vacation insurance went up $10 was just curious to see what other fees had been increased.

    Typical RCI.

RCI still works for me but I was just thinking this morning that timesharing just isn't as much fun anymore. Fees and MFs are increasing rapidly and and some resorts are just getting harder tand harder to work with when you want to deposit into RCI. It's a PIA.

So I phoned - I figured if their website doesn't work they might as well pay for a long-distance call and VC time. The pricing for an online exchange for Canadian members is now $206, which work out to $202 US, and the combine TPUs fee is now $119, which works out to $116.63.

RCI certainly has become an expensive proposition! Fortunately I don't use it very much, since I belong to 6 other exchange companies (all cheapere I might add).

I'm assuming that all the prices you are quoting are in CAD and thinking the US price increases are going to be $10 more for Combo and Exchange.

Whoever they haven't chased off with TP assignments will be left with heavier fees. At least for as long as they will tolerate them. There are people who are still making out and quite well for depositing.

RCI left my budget at the TP assignment stage.

Working today and it appears everything with the exception of Guest certs has gone up $10. Interesting how they broke out the Vacation Insurance isn't it?

It is a 5 year access to guest certs. Say my sister went on one or two timeshare vacations a year on my RCI account. That would make sense to purchase.

Yeah, that's really annoying. Paying $49 solely to protect your trading power...which costs RCI--let's see. NOTHING.

DAE's Holiday Protection is cheaper and it covers your exchange fee as well.

This is how I am feeling too. Any suggestions on other exchange companys? I am in the southeast and we like to drive to our destination, so west coast companies don't work for me.

One reason I wanted Wyndham in the first place was to get away from all the fees and crap. I also agree it's not as much fun anymore. When I first started, the xchange fee was $56 and I was making 4 times the money I am now. I don't have to pay membership fees any more. I'm using my MROP in Trading Places. shaggy

I'm sorry . . . I thought everyone here at TS4Ms loves Weeks Points, and anyone who doesn't is just an OF complainer.
