Are you suggessting that only the changes within RCI had an effect on these numbers? I would suggest that the economy had a little bit of an impact too.

Of course it did. If you are abandoning your ownership then RCI won't get it that year or beyond that til it finds a new owner.

If you own a resort near you, you may just be using the interval yourself for a staycation. I know many this year who are using their Orlando unit for a vacation instead of trading it and paying airfare and car rental. Much easier to just drive north 4 hours and park at the Mouse House even if you're just gonna enjoy the resort. I've got friends who now go to Orlando just to use the resort and skip the theme parks and skip the whole RCI trading thing all together. Trading is alot of work and many aren't willing to do it and I can't say that I blame them if they've got a busy life.
