RCI points inventory is light today

I search SoCal everyday in points and weeks. Always 17 to 25 resorts. Today on the points side, only 11. On the weeks side, 17. Tamarack, Villa L'Auberge, Worldmark Oceanside and others are not on the RCI points list.

Same thing is happening today. At 12:30 am edt there were 23 SoCal resorts, by 9 am edt it was down to 13.

Rooms put on hold expire at midnight...then people put them back on hold?

No, the numbers have been in the 20's since a couple of days after this happened in Feb. It's like a big chunk of inventory is temporarily not available.

Yes, I've been checking southern California coastal regularly. There hasn't been much to be excited about there.

I've been watching Oregon coast, also. That has been very spartan.

EDIT TO ADD: I've been having a very difficult time finding a week at my home resort for the points I was given. There are 3 different one bedrooms and mine is the larger size. It gave me 46,500 points, but I can't ever find a one bedroom week that is less than 50,000 points. I will have to see what the exact week goes for when it is available. They have truly given me the option of exchanging for less than what I have. I just don't get it.
