One account both weeks & Points?

Hi -

I've currently got an RCI points account. I was thinking about adding an RCI weeks unit at the same resort. Will I have to pay for two separate RCI accounts or can I combine them?

You already have a free weeks account as part of your points account benefit. You have to call to activate it. You can then deposit weeks you own at other resorts or the same resort into the weeks side for TPU's.
You won't be able to do a points for deposit of that week into RCI points since your resort is already a points resort and RCI restricts this.

You don't have to pay for a second account but you will need to call RCI and have a Weeks account set up for you. A weeks account is included in the price of the annual points account. You will not be able to combine the accounts or weeks for exchanges. If you get a week at a weeks only resort you would be able to do a PFD Points for Deposit and convert the week into points to be deposited in your Points account for an additional fee. Weeks not in points at a resort that has points owners can only be converted by the resort.

If you deed to two weeks differently you may not be able to use the "free" account and may have to pay for the weeks account separately.

We want to keep it as a "weeks" property so that we can get access to both the points and the weeks inventory so that shouldn't be a problem.
