I don't recall exactly this being said yet: "If you wanted to be in Weeks, you stayed in Weeks. If you wanted to be in Points, you switched to Points. Now it has been decided that if you wanted to be in Weeks, you are in Points any way, with no choice or opt out."

Of all the things that have been said about the frustrations brought about by the adulteration of Weeks, for me this statement sums it up best.

It wasn't good enough just to let those who preferred Points to opt into Points, and let them steal from Weeks, and let those who preferred Weeks to have what was left in Weeks.

No. They had to force Weeks people into Points any way, and come up with ways to derive additional fees from them, so that those people could continue to do what they were already doing.

There seems to be no end to the evil, and greed, lurking in the minds of those who sit and think these things up.

I can't do ex-ops today. I saw a couple of things that just blew my mind with the ask. I know you will see the one and agree.

The problem is I know how many saved points that would require from a Bluegreen owner and it is in no way equitable for RCI to require 52TPUs for it.

I pretty much trod the ground well yesterday. Most of what I saw is still there and nothing stellar has been added.

I would like to know who the hell is supposed to be watching the evil empire.

Just wait. RCI's next move is highly predictable, although the timing of it is not. That will be to merge their two different points systems - Points and Points Lite (aka Weeks). It will probably be, from a members standpoint, the worst from each system. It will also be yet one more scramble of trading power.

The lack of stability in RCI from the constant fruit basket turnovers of how their system works and the relative value of weeks just adds to the frustration.

Personally I am happy with using DAE and SFX, and just scored a shoulder season 2BR in LONDON from SFX!

I hate to say it, but that is exactly what I have been thinking, and since one of our most esteemed contributor has already said hell in this thread, I don't know why the hell they don't just make it one big points system, except for the fact that a lot of points members paid to convert.

Well, I don't mean big, in the context of more members or more selection or big in that manner, because it wouldn't be, with the fallout and all.

Between what they are asking for crappy weeks/resorts and what they are giving for stuff, it's just bumfuzzling! It's as if they are using a dart board, and pretty obvious those doing it have no feel for reality.
